Vegetables

We grow a wide variety of vegetables and herbs without the use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or chemical fertilizers. Our three unheated greenhouses extend the growing season for salad greens, spinach and tomatoes. We sell our produce at the Sandy River Farmers Market on Front St. in Farmington May through October on Tuesdays from 2pm to 6pm and Fridays from 9am to 2pm.

Baked Goods

We offer a variety of baked goods including Bread (Anadama, Whole Wheat, Multi-Grain, Cinnamon Raisin, and Oatmeal) Cinnamon Rolls, Cookies and Pies. All of our bakery items are made with whole wheat, organic Maine flour. We never use hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, or artificial sweeteners. Our goods are sold at the Better Living Center, Up Front and Pleasant Gourmet, and at the Sandy River Farmers Market.

Eggs

We sell brown eggs from a flock comprised of several different breeds with Bard Rock and High Production Reds making up the majority along with Black Australorps, silver Lace Wyandottes, and Buff Orpingtons.

Our chickens all have access to the outside and are cage free. The hens brood and raise babies and are quite content.  Our large brown eggs are packed with nutrition. They have dark yolks stand up in the frying pan and taste great.

Hay

Marble Family Farms hay is a meadow mix of Timothy Orchard Grass and Clover from fields that are limed and manured regularly.  We produce 4x4 round bales that weigh around 700 lbs. We do not use any chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides on the farm.  You will find our hay safe, healthy and appealing to your animals. Our hay is stored on pallets in our new 38 x 60 foot barn to insure quality.
